i use xchat aqua as well but the bugs are getting more annoying and i wish the guy would port mirc to mac... but its the next best thing!

it would be good for some real support for the client though i cant find some where where people actually reply or help

xchat aqua is the best irc client for the mac but has little to no support and has some bugs. also i miss mirc !!! i am so used to it lol

XChat is by far my favorite chat client on any operating system, since it's available on most. This is one of the reasons I prefer it. I can use it on Windows, Linux, or OS X. It took me many years to fall in love with it however. When I first started using Linux, I used a program called KVirc. This was much like mIRC, which I had used on Windows for a while. After getting used to XChat on Linux, I had to have it on Windows and OS X. There seems to be less and less support for it, however, and there are few scripts written for it, when compared to mIRC.
